Dear Guest - Welcome to Kruger Park Retreat!
Thank you for choosing to stay at our beautiful resort. Be assured that every effort has been made to ensure that your visit is a memorable one. Our friendly team of staff will ensure that all your needs are catered for in the most efficient manner possible. We are proud of the fact that Kruger Park Lodge has once again received it's RCl Gold Crown Status as well as The SA Tourism Grading council's four star rating and we are committed to constantly improving on all we have to offer.
Hippos, impala and vervet monkeys can be seen on a regular basis. The resident hippos on the property can be viewed from the safety of the Hippo Hide, however please be aware that hippos may roam freely on the property.
In the unlikely event of this happening, please keep your distance. It is important not to disturb them. Extreme caution should be exercised when there are hippo calves. If hippos are seen on the property, kindly inform reception or security immediately, so that the animal can be relocated to the river. Click for More Information.
White Tailed Mongoose and a variety of snakes are also found on the property, so great care should be taken when walking near the river or through bushes & long grass.
For your convenience, an inventory of each chalet can be found in the kitchen of your unit. Our breakage system works on an honesty basis. Should any thing break during your stay, please report it to reception, so that we can arrange for a replacement. Please do not replace any breakage's yourself, as these will not comply with the resort's standardised items. We understand that your holiday time is precious and do not require you doing an inventory check. Please refer to the insert for weekly activities that take place on a regular basis. Reception as well as the Leisure desk, near reception, will assist with information on the activities on offer at the resort as well as in the area.
The Restaurant is open from 07h 00 to 22h 00 daily or you may wish to relax and read a book in the surrounds of the Sable River at the tapa. Please refer to the insert for any specials that the restaurant may have on offer this week.
The upstairs patio that overlooks the 9th hole is a popular spot for that well deserved thirst quencher after a round of golf. Alternatively you may wish to relax and appreciate the fresh country air.
Why not try your hand at a round of golf on our 9-hole, 18 tee Gary Player designer course. Golf Clubs, carts and tennis rackets are available for hire and basic amenities and newspapers are on sale at the Hornbill Golf Shop. Click For More Information. Owners of privately owned golf carts must please consult the pro shop manager with regards to the protocol for privately owned golf carts.
A Car Wash and Laundry service is available to residents. Vouchers and tokens maybe purchased at reception. Mini Golf clubs and balls are also available at reception at a nominal fee.
